Complete with flight capabilities and repulsor beams, the mod does far more than provide players an Iron Man Mark III skin; it lets players become Iron Man and utilize some of his signature weaponized powers. These include the ability to hover a few feet above the ground, rocket punch enemies and vehicles with ease, soar through the air at a great speed using both glove and boot rockets, and fire rocket blasts from his chest reactor. One of the only faculties really missing in the mod, aside from Tony Stark’s silver-tongued wit and irresistible charm, is the character’s shoulder-mounted guns and flares – oh, and of course, Jar
But, with just nine days left in 2014 it doesn’t seem as though the developer is going to make its original timeline – maybe they’ve been too busy with the game’s release on Xbox One and PS4. That’s especially true when you consider that Rockstar is also working on GTA Online’s Heists as well as the PC release of the game , which are both scheduled for early 2
The moments of awe that the first-person mode demonstrate (like the flying segments) are constantly overshadowed by an obstructive and pointless statement. As the fanmade mods have shown us, first-person GTA is a novelty, a fleeting distraction that you’ll use for five minutes, then realize that it was just better the old way. Re-releasing GTA 5 Weapons|Https://Gta5Play.Com/ V barely a year after release is already a questionable move, but using something so disposable and out of place as a selling point is the real issue at hand. And yes, it’s optional. I understand that, but why treat this as a game-changer? GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One will sell, likely very well, but not because of the first-person mode. GTA V’s first-person mode is a pointless addition that does more to shamelessly lure in FPS fans than deliver any substantial inclusions to what Grand Theft Auto is about.
“We know that our unaided awareness for Ghosts is leading the way against other unreleased triple-A titles. Our digital content has proven extremely popular and Black Ops II has sold more than 3m units in the
It baffles me as to why Rockstar would even consider a first-person mode for GTA V. Perhaps it was the success of open-world shooters like Far Cry 3 that inspired them to do this, which is understandable. However, Far Cry 3 is a shooter. It’s built as a shooter and the shooting is a huge part of the game’s appeal. Sure, there’s exploration, but the action is Far Cry’s appeal by far. Grand Theft Auto V, for all its gritty action and violence, is not a shooter. Its action comes from something less primal and more intelligent. If anything, this first-person shooter setup does more to pander to the FPS crowd than to thoughtfully expand on what Grand Theft Auto has always been about.
Grand Theft Auto V set the world ablaze when it appeared, roaring onto the scene with the biggest open-world ever seen in the series. Rockstar soared back to the forefront of gaming, shouting from atop the skyscrapers and taking off into the stratosphere. In this current gaming climate of endless re-releases and remasters, it was only a matter of time that Rockstar would cave. Grand Theft Auto V was confirmed for release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, with 1080p/30fps graphics and numerous tweaks to gameplay. But one new feature stood out: a first-person mode . For a series that’s always been a third-person endeavor, the FPS-style setup caught many gamers’ eyes, some even claiming it to make this GTA V “the definitive version.” GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One is likely to be the definitive version of the game, but this first-person mode is a disposable and pointless inclusion, a shameless stand-in for true expansion on the already enormous open-world game.
The video game industry has been a little unstable with its expectations in the last few years. Several top franchise games failed to meet lofty revenue goals – despite selling very well in their own right. Resident Evil 6 was deemed to have “fallen short of the plan” despite selling several million copies. Tomb Raide r , which sold 3.8 million copies at the time of the report, was deemed an “extraordinary loss” by Square Enix . Some blame the high expectations on Call of Duty with companies pumping more and more money into their games to try and replace the military shooter as one of the industry’s most consistent sell
The video game industry has been embroiled in this sort of controversy for the past few weeks leading up to the news about The Interview. In two separate events, the gaming community (and even some outside the gaming community) have shown a willingness to accept and often times support acts comparable to Sony’s just as often as it condemns them. The first happened when Target and Kmart stores in Australia decided they would not carry Grand Theft Auto V due to its depictions of violence against women . Then days ago, Hatred, the game that may yet actually morph into a scolding-hot button, was pulled from Steam Greenlight .
