Dr. Haider Raza

Dr. Haider Raza from London Hospital Medical College.  He has completed extensive post graduate training in Restorative Dentistry, Occlusal Studies and Dental implants.  Dr. Raza believes in investing heavily in the latest advanced skills and techniques which he has learned and perfected.  Click here to see a list of some Dr. Raza’s advanced training courses. Although he practices all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Raza’s lies in Restorative Dentistry and Occlusion (the relationship the teeth and how they interact). Dr. Raza has successfully treated many with bite/occlusal problems and has recently been devoting time to creating awareness of this issue.

He is able to offer treatments to his patient under Intravenous Sedation or Oral Sedation – making sedation dentistry a safe and affordable option for nervous patients. Dr Raza has also many smiles by performing the specialised procedure known as Smile Design. He is an active member of the BSOS (British of Occlusal Studies), the BACD (British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and the AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry), SAAD (Society for Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).

Zishaan Shafi

Mr Zishaan Shafi graduated from King’s College Dental School and The Royal College of Surgeons, in 2010.  With over 15 years of thus far, he is a multi-award winning Dental Therapist. Zishaan won the “Best Young Therapist” in 2013 at the DHT Awards and “Best Dental Charity Project” at the Private Dentistry Awards in 2014. 

Zishaan has completed a number of post-graduate courses, notably with the Oxford Dental Deanery and The John Radcliffe Hospital, in Periodontology and Advanced Paediatric and Restorative Therapies. 

Having worked in progressive clinical environments, Zishaan brings a wealth of experience in managing periodontal health, performing advanced cleaning techniques, and supporting patients undergoing and cosmetic treatments. His gentle mannerism, friendly approach and clear communication help patients feel at ease, even during more complex procedures. 

At Thurloe Street Dental, Zishaan works closely with the multidisciplinary dental team to provide comprehensive, integrated care. He tailors each hygiene appointment to suit the needs and comfort level of every individual, using the latest techniques and to achieve outstanding results with minimal .

Dr Zain Rizvi

Dr. Zain Rizvi is an award winning dentist with an interest in aesthetic and restorative . He qualified as a dentist from Kings College, London and also holds a BSc (hons) from Imperial College London. Dr Rizvi excelled in his achievements as a student and was awarded “Dental Student of the Year” at Kings College London. He is also a author. His book “Know The Drill” has been highly regarded by dental students. Dr. Rizvi is a member of the Board of for the BAPD (British Association of Private Dentistry) and serves on the committee for the BACD (British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry). He was honoured with the Rising Star Scholarship by the British of Cosmetic Dentistry. Additionally, he is a lead educator for RipeGlobal, teaching restorative dentistry to dentists . Dr Zain Rizvi regularly mentors dental students and is often published in dental articles. Outside of dentistry, Dr Rizvi is an accomplished footballer and cricketer. He also takes a keen interest in politics and affairs.

Karolina Karcz-White

Karolina is a dental and has 22 years dental nursing experience. Karolina also has special training in Implant dentistry and sedation dentistry. She became a part of our dental team in 2006 and assists Dr. Raza. Her caring and empathetic manner makes her very popular with our patients. In her free time, Karolina enjoys travelling, dancing and keeping fit.

Dr Fahad Jamil

Dr Fahad Jamil qualified with in 2012 from King’s College London with multiple prizes, including the prestigious Newland Pedley medal for graduating top of his year. Since qualifying, Fahad developed a interest in oral surgery having worked in multiple well renowned maxillofacial surgery departments across London and South England. During this time he gained his Membership of the of Dental Surgery as well as completing a postgraduate diploma with distinction.

Fahad is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons (BAOS) and the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD). He currently works as a part-time hospital speciality dentist in oral surgery and is a visiting oral dentist in several dental practices.

Outside of dentistry, he is a keen traveller and photographer and has a particular in immersing himself in different cultures.

Zara Shirvani

Zara is a multi award winning dental hygienist. Qualifying from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital and the Faculty of Royal College of Surgeons. Zara’s passion and drive lies in promoting oral health and . 

Always striving to have a positive impact on patient’s oral health and wellbeing. Educating them in the prevention of oral diseases including gum and tooth decay. Zara carries out advanced hygiene, guided biofilm therapy, gum disease treatments, teeth whitening and other preventative treatments such as fluoride varnish application and fissure sealants. She has extensive experience treating both adults and children. She utilises the Guided Biofilm Technology, which is a recognised protocol using the top technology and for dental hygiene procedure. 

Zara strongly believes in a holistic approach, and has a calm manner. She has a vested in treating nervous patients and helping them overcome their dental anxieties, by using minimally invasive techniques to improve their quality of life with the highest standards of care and consideration. 

Zara is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists, a key opinion leader for Enlighten and a global ambassador for EMS Dental’s Guided Biofilm Therapy. She continues to be an advocate for spreading awareness, and has written for the UK’s leading dentistry magazine. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, experiencing other cultures, dance, theatre and good food.

Allysun Ramsdale

Allysun is our facial aesthetics clinician. She qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the of Leeds in 1992, receiving awards for clinical excellence, practical work and hygienist of the year.

Allysun has almost 30 years of experience as a dental hygienist in maintaining oral hygiene. She is also qualified in smoking cessation treatment and is trained in using hypnotherapy on nervous patients.

Allysun is also highly trained and experienced in providing anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments. She takes pride in using subtle techniques to give you a more youthful and fresher appearance.

Allysun likes listening to rock music, watching television and attending music festivals.

Saba Raza

Saba is responsible for patient billing, liaising with dental insurance companies, completing insurance claims and discussing and arranging patient finance. In her free time, she enjoys reading, trekking, travelling and spending time with her family.
