This is a rough build guide for a hybrid DPS/Support Gunlancer, more of an outline, while we work on more detailed Gunlancer builds ahead of the western launch. It gives an overview of the different skills and their Tripods. This is an endgame build, but we will also work on a separate leveling build for the cl

The Sharpshooter comes with some decent abilities for clearing Dungeons solo, some very reliable DPS for Raids (although a lack of party support lets them down somewhat), and the sort of damage/mobility/range that can be deadly in PvP if played correctly. Here’s a rundown of those builds.

The Sharpshooter is a ranged DPS class in Lost Ark – he relies on his bow and a Hawk to deal damage, dealing damage mostly from medium to long-range. A few close-range abilities are thrown in there for good measure.

The Gunlancer is a heavy tank class that provides some shield buffs for your party, as well as by far and large one of the most useful skills in the game: a taunt . The Gunlancer also has a powerful shield that lets you ignore a lot, if not all, attacks – even those from bosses. This means you can stick right in the face of the boss, taking heavy hits (even staggers and knock-ups) while consistently doing damage. The class relies mainly on heavy burst damage with the Lone Knight Engraving or for consistent, sustained tanking with the Combat Readiness Engrav

For Awakening, it’s time for Golden Eye again . Lots of AoE damage is good for dealing damage as you move in to deal damage with Blade Storm and the stealth it provides can be good for dodging attacks from the Raid boss. There is some flexibility with this build so play around with what feels good to you.

Dungeons are all about clearing content as quickly as possible. This content can be completed by a solo player. Raids are a bit more involved and require the learning of mechanics and balanced party composition. Some Abyss Raids are really, really hard, and you’ll need a coordinated team to complete them. PvP is very involved with a high skill ceiling for many of the classes. There’s a ranked ladder and casual play. All gear is equalized in PvP. No pay-to-win. No unnecessary grinding is needed. Think of League of Legends but encased in a fast-paced 3v3 arena. With a decent ping, the game is responsive and sharp. Maxed out frames on my 3070 pretty much constantly, even when the screen is totally full of chaotic ability animations and spell effects.

Crit Rate of Red skills (damage/Gunlance) increased by 15%. Crit damage is increased by 50%. You cannot use your shield, and shield meter is consumed 100% times faster in Defensive Stance.

How do these two Engravings play out? How they impact the Gunlancer’s playst

The Western launch of Lost Ark also comes with a bunch of endgame content, the sort of content that Korean and Russian players had to wait for in the form of content patches. There are still some things missing from Lost Ark’s launch, including a few of the classes from the other versions of the anime Game news, but I believe the ultimate goal is to have content parity between every version of Lost Ark, allowing for content updates to launch simultaneously across all three servers.

It’s worth making it to the end of the game, currently set at level 50. Lost Ark’s endgame content is fantastic. If the story doesn’t grab you – and it might not – then rest assured that your hours aren’t going to be wasted. The PvE and PvP endgame content is so good, and extremely addictive. Chaos Dungeons, Raids, and PvP Arenas make up the bulk of what you’ll be doing on a daily basis (a lot of this content has daily and weekly resets, which is why people play on alts). Nothing is compulsory, everything you do during your daily time with the game is rewarding and engrossing.
