the Kalmar operation is not just another adventure brand. It is a one-of-a-kind marriage of automotive engineering and extreme discovery. Created by Jan Kalmar, the operation started as a private quest to engineer the ideal safari Porsche. Today, it ranks as a world-renowned name for exclusive automotive expeditions in some of the world’s most stunning landscapes.

The Philosophy Behind Kalmar Automotive

At the foundation of Jankalmer lies a simple belief: that the classic driver’s car can be converted into a versatile yet elegant all-terrain supercar.

Each Kalmar model is rigorously built to handle the most extreme conditions on the world. From icy ice arenas to rocky bush tracks, every Kalmar Porsche is a custom project that holds on to the character of a genuine 911, while receiving enhanced all-terrain performance.

Iconic Experiences

the Kalmar team does not only assemble Porsches; it organizes complete motoring journeys that position drivers at the heart of the journey.

The Spirit of Speed programme is one of the most popular services. Here, clients slide through icy arenas in Northern Europe, pushing both their nerve and the machine to its limits.

The Trans-Africa journey is another pillar experience. This marathon expedition covers untamed landscapes from the Mediterranean to the Kalahari. Along the way, enthusiasts witness varied surfaces, cultures, and situations that shape the heart of genuine long-distance driving.

Other signature itineraries cover the high-altitude African drives, European mountain passes, and country-based adventures to Central America.

What Defines Kalmar Automotive Distinctive

Every Jankalmer expedition is intentionally structured to integrate heart-pounding motoring with meaningful exploration insights.

Drivers get access to private trips, experienced mentor leadership, and premium camps that complete the complete expedition. Whether sliding on glaciated surfaces, driving through wild highland routes, or steering through scenic villages, participants gain unique access to the world’s most iconic roads in a car that is every bit as at home off-road as on tarmac.
